A Smarter Baseline
for Health and Performance

You track sleep. Recovery. HRV. Training load, but wearables can’t tell you everything.  Our Longevity Performance Assessment combines the best, lab-proven tests to give you objective data indicating your health, fitness, and potential for longevity.

Assess your cardiovascular fitness and efficiency with VO2max, get detailed body composition with research grade DEXA, and check up on handgrip strength as a baseline indicator of strength... All in one performance driven package.

Wearables estimate, calibrated equipment measures

  • VO2 max:  Your watch is at the mercy of inconsistent heart rate and pace calculations.  Our VO2 system analyzes the actual oxygen consumption of your body during a submaximal or maximal VO2.

  • Body composition: At home scales like Hume use predictive models and electrical impedance to try and estimate tissues.  DEXA images the tissues directly, giving exact amounts of bodyfat (including visceral fat), muscle mass by region of the body, whole body bone density, and more.

  • Handgrip strength:  A simple, fast, and safe way to gauge whole body strength.  Handgrip strength is strongly correlated to longevity and is an excellent add on to a comprehensive assessment

Common Questions

  • Who is this assessment for?
This is for people who already take their health seriously and want better data to guide training, nutrition, and long-term health decisions. It is a strong fit for regular exercisers, health optimizers, and anyone who values objective measurement.

  • Do I need to be highly fit to do this?
No. You do not need to be elite or highly conditioned. The assessment is useful for anyone who wants a clearer understanding of where they currently stand and what to improve next.

  • How should I prepare?
You should arrive well-hydrated, wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise, and avoid treating the session like a hard training day. We provide specific prep instructions based on the testing format you book.

  • How often should I repeat the assessment?  Most people benefit from retesting after a meaningful block of training or lifestyle change. The value is not just in the first test, but in seeing whether your efforts are actually producing measurable improvement.

  • Can this help guide my training or nutrition?
Yes. The purpose of the assessment is to give you better information so your next decisions are based on data rather than assumptions. It can help highlight strengths, weak points, and priorities for improvement.

  • What if I want an even more complete picture?
Some clients choose to add resting metabolic rate testing for more insight into baseline energy needs. That can be a useful next step depending on your goals.

  • Is this just for performance, or is it relevant to long-term health too?
Both. This assessment is valuable for people who care about performance, but it is also highly relevant for people who want a clearer view of health capacity and long-term trajectory.
